Das Gebäude aus Carbonbeton war erst vor Kurzem im MDR Fernsehen zu sehen und kommt jetzt in den SLUB Makerspace. Das leichte, ressourcenschonende Baumaterial ermöglicht nachhaltiges Bauen mit Beton. Mehr dazu erfahrt ihr von Iurii Vakaliuk beim SLUB Makerspace MeetUp!.\n\n\n\nIurii forscht zum Thema Carbonbeton an der Professur für Massivbau der TU Dresden. Live aus dem SLUB Makerspace direkt in eure Bildschirme berichtet er von den Projekten CUBE und SFB/TRR 280 C01 und adressiert folgende Fragen: Wie genau hilft Carbonbeton dabei, die Zukunft des Baus nachhaltig zu gestalten? Wie tragen schalenförmige Strukturen mit Beton dazu bei, Baumaterial einzusparen? Beim SLUB Makerspace MeetUp! bekommt ihr einen Einblick darin, wie Forschung zum Thema Carbonbeton von Programmierung bis Produktion aussieht. Iurii zeigt euch außerdem, was Lasercutter, 3D-Drucker, Styroporcutter und Grasshopper damit zu tun haben.\n\n\n\nNicht zum ersten Mal beschäftigt sich die SLUB mit dem Baustoff, denn bereits im Jahr 2019 konnte die Ausstellung “Megatrend – Carbonbeton” im Drepunct besucht werden. Das Bauforschungsprojekt C3 – Carbon Concrete Composite, welches vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung gefördert wird, ist das größte in Deutschland (Stand Jan 2021). Die Forschungsergebnisse aus diesem Projekt werden nun sichtbar: In Dresden entsteht das erste Haus aus dem Material, das sogenannte CUBE.  \n\n\n\nDie Veranstaltung ist für alle offen. The carbon concrete composite used is a light-weight, environmentally friendly material that makes building more sustainable. Visit the SLUB Makerspace MeetUp! online to learn more!\n\n\n\nIurii Vakaliuk is a researcher on carbon reinforced concrete at the Chair of Concrete Structures at TU Dresden. Sending live from the SLUB Makerspace, he will talk about the projects CUBE and SFB/TRR 280 C01 and address questions such as: How does carbon reinforced concrete help making the future of building more sustainable? How can we use shell-shaped structures to economize the use of concrete? How does research in the field of carbon reinforced concrete look like including steps ranging from programming to manufacturing? In addition, Iurii will show you how laser cutters, 3D printers, styrofoam cutters and Grasshopper are involved in the project.\n\n\n\nIt is not the first time that the topic is being brought into the SLUB: In 2019 the exhibition “Megatrend – Carbonbeton” was shown at the departmental library Drepunct. The research project C3 – Carbon Concrete Composite is the largest research project in the German construction industry (as of Jan 2021) and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
